Self Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) Program
To assist financial services professionals to specialise in the area of SMSF strategy, Kaplan Professional has developed a comprehensive SMSF Program.
Program Information
Accountants who have completed a SMSF Program
Accountants who complete one of Kaplan Professional's SMSF Programs may be able to obtain an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
RPL recognises learning from other programs, life experience, work experience or any training provided at work. This experience is measured against the performance criteria and knowledge requirements of the unit of competency.
Any student who has recently completed a Kaplan Professional SMSF Program (Self Managed Superannuation Funds or The Strategist Group SMSF Adviser Program) would have already been credited with 5 competencies towards their Advanced Diploma of Financial Services. A successful RPL application for three accounting competencies taken from the latest Financial Services Training Package will enable them to qualify for the Advanced Diploma of Financial Services FNS60104. The three Advanced Diploma level competencies which we have selected are those most likely to have been covered by accountants.
Students, who believe that they have met all of the elements of all or any of the three units of competency, and can provide evidence of having met the performance criteria, should complete the RPL application forms.
Refer to the SMSF Program in the Financial Services area for further information.
