Who Should Enrol
This Graduate Diploma is designed specifically for professionals currently working or seeking employment with ASX listed entities in roles such as:
- Company secretary
- Director
- Chief Financial Officer
- Company officer/administrator
- In-house legal counsel
- Other corporate adviser.
This accredited course is facilitated and written by Corporate Compliance Partners (CCP) and its delivery and assessment are administered and overseen by Kaplan Professional.
What would I achieve upon completion?
Upon successful completion of this qualification, you should be able to:
- Understand the various disclosure types expected of a listed entity
- Appropriately administer company activities (members' meetings, significant transactions) to ensure good governance
- Report on issues concerning corporate governance
- Gain a general understanding of how companies are listed on the ASX.
Prerequisites
Students are required to have either:
- An undergraduate degree PLUS at least two years corporate work experience; or
- Four years relevant work experience.
Structure and Subjects
The Graduate Diploma consists of five subjects, each covering a different aspect of the ASX Listing Rules and Reporting Requirements and ASX Corporate Governance Principles.
To satisfactorily complete the Graduate Diploma of Corporate Governance of ASX Listed Entities qualification, participants must successfully complete all five subjects listed below:
- Introduction to the ASX and Listing a Company
- Continuous and Periodic Disclosure
- Securities Management, Meetings of Members and Mining and Exploration Activities
- Transactions with Persons of Influence and Significant Transactions
- Corporate Governance and Reporting.

This qualification is delivered through a combination of:
- Self-study, and
- Intensive workshop.
Assessment
To satisfy the Graduate Diploma assessment criteria, you must successfully complete:
- Pre-reading for workshops
- Attendance and participation in all set workshop days
- At the end of each subject, a 1.5 hour multiple-choice, open-book examination
- An assignment covering competencies covered in all five subjects.
Progression
Subjects may be completed individually however all five subjects must be completed within two years from the time of enrolment.
Fees
Fee per subject: $1,495.
